Shalom dear brothers and sisters in Christ!

by Pastor Jerry Theckston

Shalom dear brothers and sisters in Christ! We pray God’s peace and richest blessings over each of your precious lives!

Glory to God – we moved into our cabin on Noah’s ranch on Sunday evening the 22nd. We are so grateful for all of the volunteer laborers who offered countless hours and hundreds of miles traveling back and forth to Curlew! Amazing Grace!! Others have been praying for us forever and put this cabin project, which turned out to be much bigger than first thought, on their regular prayer list.

We were also overwhelmed by the financial gifts that came at just the right time in just the right amount! Some gave anonymously, others through various channels – but all were gifts of love that humbled our hearts and often brought us to tears…

The last major projects - furnace, shower and final electrical work are just about complete and we believe those bills will be paid in full with ‘Sue’s cabin coffer’! Praise God! A lovely cabin, near family with no debt! How does that happen? Only God!!!

One more update - Sue had to make the difficult decision to give up her beloved little Mazda. There are extremes in Curlew from 120° in summer to -30° below in winter, and we had no place to put her car. So after much prayer, we felt led to buy a good, harsh weather car - 2025 Subaru. God set it up so that we were given over $9,000 off by purchasing an advertised special, with a strange color. We received a great trade-in plus money Sue has been saving up and also our 2023 tax return - to leave us with a short-term loan with small payments. We believe this vehicle will be a special blessing to us and the rest of the family as the long winters here are almost upon us!

How can we thank God enough for each one of you…?   I Thess. 3:9!  We are overwhelmed, humbled and excited about our next steps together with you in Christ!

In His love, jerry & sue
