From Lucy Mburu in Kenya

by Pastor Jerry Theckston

God’s love and blessings dear friends!  Jesus said, “whatever you do for one of the least of these, you do for Me!” Matt. 25:40

Below is a report from our dear sister Lucy Mburu who God has called out to serve the orphans and the elderly, in Kenya!  It is such a privilege to help with the resource God has given us to care for those who are hungry and disregarded as unimportant and a burden!!

Dear Dad,

Thanks so very much for prayers, encouragement and support to us you have always given unto us. We are very humbled Dad. I shopped for the children's home as I always do and gave some cash to the matron for emergency cases.

When I visited the kids on Saturday I found them anxiously waiting for me, we had good time together, read the bible, sung and shared snacks with them. Most of them were on midterm and have reported back to schools today. Its been rainy, cold and wet, so I had to encourage them to keep warm and behave well in school and at home.

We read the Bible in Luke 2:52...and learned the life of Jesus. The kids love you, Sue and the team and they send warm greetings to you all Dad.

Yesterday I visited Abraham and passed his regards to you Dad. He is so greatful that you are praying for him and encouraged that Jesus is our healer and our provider. Below is the photos I took with kids and their Matron who stays with them. Mum Angelina

Most humbled daughter and friend Lucy
