Thanks to those of you who have been patiently waiting for our next blog update.
Below are the last two notes we received from our dear sister in Christ - Lucy Njeri. She has been with us from the beginning of our first trip to Kenya in 2008. Lucy loves the Lord with her whole heart and her ministry is to serve the forgotten - orphans, the elderly and the destitute.
These are very difficult days in Kenya - very high unemployment, desperate food shortage (night after night people go to bed having not eaten for days), clean water is almost impossible to find and children with no funds for the mandatory school fees are therefore being forced to drop out. How can so many of us have so much and others so little? Proverbs 28:27 / Matthew 25:40.
You are greatly loved, jerry
Dear Dad, Thank you so much for Praying for me and encouraging me all the time, I am so humbled and thankful Dad. Your prayers and supplication keep me going, helps me to be strong, you have taught me to trust in Jesus all the time and this is amazing Grace Dad. I have peace in my heart Dad. My prayers is that Jesus may give me more funds that I may be able to share with his children, especially the girls I bought healthy towels for and foodstuff for children's home and Abraham and mum. I'm very humbled to serve Jesus this, he is called me and he is Faithful to complete the work he started in me. Thank you, Dad and Mom Sue, for always being there for me, I appreciate so very much.
