Below is an update from our dear sister in Kenya, Lucy Mburu. Lucy was one of the first friends we met in Kenya back in 2008! She serves an orphanage, that until last year, often went without adequate food and other supplies needed for the children. Now there are several team members Lucy has helped to organize who work with the kids and recently prepared a meal! It is amazing what can happen when a barren room is filled with love and a bunch of full tummies!
Lucy also works with some of the elderly and cleans and washes for them, just out of love… By God’s grace we are providing about $400/ month for this ministry-
Dear Dad,
I visited Abraham on Sunday by Gods grace and encouraged him, prepared meals for him and cleaned his house. He seems to be most encouraged by your prayers Dad. His situation among those I serve requires much attention, he is waiting upon Jesus, he walks around with a stick nothing much he can do but his heart is strong.
Pray for me that I may gain a heart of wisdom, strength and abundance grace as I serve his children. May Jesus bless you, Dad, Mum Sue and Team. I always pray for you as well.
Much love,
Your daughter and friend Lucy
I'm so humbled to hear from you and Mum Sue.
Your encouragement and prayers keep me going. Yes the tax is a bit high, fuel prices and everything is expensive now, but Jesus is very faithful he keeps on feeding the kids in mysterious ways, they never sleep hungry. Dad may Jesus bless you abundantly for remembering us.

Kindly I have shared the photos I received from my colleagues the youth. They prepared a meal for the kids home and shared with them.
Most humbled daughter and friend Lucy.
