Well Pump and Solar Panels - Eastern Kenya Farm Project

Roughly five years ago we were able to finish drilling and establish a deep water well that miraculously exploded like a geyser when we broke through!  It was a long term dream that was finally realized from a gift given in memory of our dear sister Joan Hess!  

The water is not only used to irrigate our crops but the whole community, which often spends hours/day searching for clean water, can come and take, freely, as much as they want for their own needs!  What an amazing Grace God has given us with this blessing!!

But, because it has been used so much, the pump, after four rebuilds finally gave out! For a couple months when it was out of commission all of us were reminded what a tremendous God-given gift this was for everyone there!!

Last month several generous saints hopped in and raised enough money to pay the $3360 necessary to buy a new pump and six solar panels to power up this life giving water supply! Back in business- Praise God from whom All blessings Flow!!!

On top of everything the greatest gift was news that Enos Mutokah’s mum, Esther, one of the most powerful workers for abandoned and starving kids in the Madera slums was baptized!  What a Day of rejoicing both here and in Heaven!!!
